We're all familiar with Shoe Dazzle's advertisements that are saturated on social media, television, and billboards. I did not know that Kim K. was a founding partner. Did you?
A lot of people mistake Kim's promotion as just another endorsement deal. However, the company approached Kim with a partnership opportunity instead of just paying her to be the face of the company.

Shoe Dazzle launched in 2009 with partners Brian Lee & Robert Shapiro. The two co-founders are also the entrepreneurs that started the company LEGAL ZOOM!
Oh yeah!, that's the same Robert Shapiro from the OJ Simpson trial. Kim has since recognized Robert as her "Uncle Robert."

Back to the Shoe Dazzle story ...
After launching in 2009, it only took Shoe Dazzle two years to reach ten million (10 million) subscribers.

Wait, Wait, Wait, Wait, Wait a minute!!!! Can we do some math real quick? 10 Million Subscribers : 10,000,000
Subscription Monthly Fee : $39
which means ..............................
Monthly Gross Profit : $390,000,000
At this point in their business, Shoe Dazzle generated $300,000,000.00 every month! If the net profits were only 25% of gross sales, that equates to $97.5 Million dollars per month!

After hitting this milestone, Shoe Dazzle sold the company to the big conglomerate JUST FAB. The sale amount was never publicized to the public. However, I cannot imagine a company bringing in $100+ Million every month only to sell for anything under $1 Billion.

FUN FACT:
After the sale of Shoe Dazzle, Brian Lee did not stop there. He went on to partner with actress Jessica Alba and in 2012 they launched The Honest Company. In 2015, only three years after launching, the company was valued at $1.5 Billion Dollars! A few years after that evaluation, the company went public, and the IPO reported the brand was valued at $2.7 Billion Dollars!
